La Jeune Rue (why you need to know about Cedric Naudon)

Cedric Naudon is a visionary, a do-er, and now a Parisian urban renewer.  Rue du Vertbois or "La Jeune Rue" (the Young Street) is seeing some inspiring and systemic changes as Naudon is transforming the once vacant storefronts into well-designed and relevant epicurean destinations.  As Jay Cheshes puts it in this weekend's Wall Street Journal, "He began to imagine bringing back the butchers, bakers and fishmongers who once worked there - but in a new way, encouraging Parisians to "consume differently" with ethical sourcing and top-notch design." Food and design being two highly regarded categories in the Rush3 studio, this of course resonated with us.
